The marketing of Terminator Genisys spoiled some of the key plot points of the film before anyone in the general audience got to see it. That noted, while I am not going to reveal any spoilers here, I am assuming those who read this will have seen the trailers already. Arnold still has his charisma, but I thought the film was mostly a reference to previous films with little to no originality and even as a reboot the film does not sync well with the first two. In fact I think they ruined aspects of the T2 in particular and some of the casting choices fell flat. It is entertaining in a leave your brain at the door kind of way, but the movie is simply a lesser son of greater sires.(C) Copyright 2015 By Mark A. Rivera
