The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Sixth Season On Blu-Ray Disc Review

Picking up where the fifth season left off, The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Sixth Season, Elena returns to college with Damon not too far behind as she learns that starting over is not easy, especially for the supernatural. All twenty two episodes that make up the sixth season of The Vampire Diaries are spread across four Blu-Ray Discs and feature 16 by 9 (1.78:1) full 1080p HD resolution (where available) to preserve the manner in which the show was exhibited on American television. English DTS-HD MA 5.1 and French and Spanish Language Dubbed Dolby 2.0 Soundtracks are encoded across the four Blu-Ray Discs along with English Closed Captions for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired and French and Spanish Language Subtitles too.

The extra value features include deleted scenes for select episodes spread across the set where applicable and there is an episode length audio commentary track with Writer and Director Julie Plec for "Let Her Go" and some promotional featurettes, the 2014 Comic Con Panel, a Georgia PSA , and a Gag Reel too. An insert with episode information and a redeemable code for a limited time only free Ultraviolet Digital Copy comes within the BD keep case.

The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Sixth Season is available now on Blu-Ray Disc at retailers on and offline courtesy of Warner Brothers Studios Home Entertainment.
