Beginning with their single "Drugs," and also taking into consideration the first song, "Wolves (You Got Me)" and the third song, "Shooting Shadows," I found Dreamers music to be reminiscent of The Killers with a groovy spirit and great guitar cords matched by the vocals of the band felt completely professional and sincere. This is not post millennial pop pretending to be alternative music. These guys are not posers. Listening to Dreamers EP felt like I was listening to a real deal sort of band and I mean that in the best sense of the words. I have always preferred New Wave, Proto-Punk, Alternative, Grunge And Post Modern College music over the top ten radio that often sounds all the same to me. Those guys I could get into hearing with the remaining songs "Never Too Late To Dance" sounding lighter and definitely the most pop like song while the melower song "Come Down Slow" felt a bit evocative of Oasis while still maintaining Dreamers distinct sound and tone that collectively remains distinct to the band itself.
