Glen Frey is dead at 67. Former member of The Eagles had some top ten hits in the 1980s that include "The Heat Is On" from Beverly Hills Cop and "Smuggler's Blues" from an episode of Miami Vice of the same name where he guest starred as a smuggler. He also had a hit with "You Belong To The City," which got significant air play after being featured on the second season premiere of Miami Vice entitled "The Prodigal Son." With The Eagle he co-wrote "Hotel California" and "Take It Easy."
