I have a confession to make. I have never been a fan of Supernatural. When it first aired on The CW I did not care for the silliness where the brothers would introduce themselves using names of well known TV characters to try and get into cases they would investigate while on their mission. As a result, I stopped watching Supernatural and did not give it any thought. In the meantime Supernatural went on to become one of the most popular genre shows on The CW and is now going into it's tenth season and counting.
That noted, Supernatural has changed a great deal since I first watched the initial first season programs. The show has developed it's own fantastic paranormal universe and developed it's characters considerably over the years. It is now a flagship continuing genre series on The CW and I have no doubt the show will continue to have a strong following for decades to come long after first run episodes have ceases production.
