This unique documentary is composed entirely of archival footage and photographs, accompanied by the voice of Stanley Kubrick. Taken from a series of rare interviews, the film provides an opportunity to understand the work of a master filmmaker, giving voice to one of the greatest directors in the history of cinema, as well as one of the most controversial and enigmatic.

ABOUT DIRECTOR GREGORY MONRO
Born in Paris where he currently lives, he grew up with American culture, watching films by his favorite directors, Steven Spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Frank Capra, Sergio Leone.
After graduating from French Film School ESRA, in 1997, he attended Jack Waltzer’s (a lifetime Actors Studio member) masterclass for a few years in Paris and New York. From 1999, Gregory Monro has written, produced, performed, and directed several professional short films, most of which toured international film festivals such as Toronto, Palm Beach, Bolzano and South Korea.
Since 2013, he has directed several documentaries which travelled the world in festivals and were broadcasted in multiples territories. His 2018 documentary Michel Legrand, Let the Music Play earn him his first International Emmy Awards nomination.
