This is my 2005 audio interview originally published at genreonline.net and frequently quoted on the Internet on Wikipedia. I have been a fan of Mr. Romero for a very long time so the fact that I actually got to talk to him on the telephone and record the interview that I did with him at a time before platforms like YouTube even existed was a fantastic thrill for me. It’s one of the great things about doing the kind of work that I’ve been doing for the last 27 years and building an archive of reviews and information related to genre films. One one gets to speak to one of their heroes and has an engage in conversation. It is something that you remember forever. So I’m proud of you.
