Tales Of The Walking Dead Anthology TV Series Review

They grab, tear, scratch and bite into whatever they can indiscriminately at anything alive. Then if there’s enough left, the victim reanimates and does the same. Considering what zombies do to their victims while still alive, the idea of someone standing there and resigning themselves while stating “Just get it over with,” seemed shocking. This scene caught my attention in the teaser. Now that I have seen the first two episodes of AMC’s Tales of the Walking Dead, it is best to look at them as one off comic book issues where anything can happen. Are all of these considered cannon? I miss the old days when Frank Darabont was guiding the show. He brought humanity to the horror/drama that remains unparalleled. For what it is, Tales of the Walking Dead is a variety bag of different flavors of storytelling that acts as filler to tell stories set in that world one would not see anywhere else. At this point I think AMC could broadcast enough Walking Dead related content to fill up a year without repeats provided people still want to see it. Tales of the Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC with new episodes streaming a week early on AMC+.
