Here’s a breakdown of the third annual Scream Job:
What: One individual will be hired to watch 13 Stephen King films by Halloween and get paid $1,300.
Why: There’s nothing like celebrating Halloween with the King of Horror himself. But we’re curious: which Stephen King movie will the winner find the absolute scariest? No monster is a monster if he doesn’t leave a few nightmares behind…

How: The winner will be given a Fitbit to keep track of their heart rate while watching each film and report on their sleep (if they can sleep). They will also track their jumpscares and emotions in a task sheet. Lights off are required, but we’ll give you a red balloon and handy guide to light the way.
The Perks: The winner will get a swag bag valued at $350. It will include the latest Fitbit, access to all 13 movies, a blanket, snacks, Stephen King paraphernalia, and movie tickets to the new Salem’s Lot premiering in 2023.
