The Flash 2023 Feature Film Review.

Ezra Miller should remain The Flash come what May because he does a fantastic job with this film where his performance centers the film, which is a loose take on Flashpoint from the comics and it manages to stay true to the DCEU and transcend it with perhaps a small taste of what is to come when the DCU kicks in next year. Everyone does a great job here and the take on time travel and the multiverse is refreshingly different with surprise cameos of what has come before and hint of what will be.The effect almost looked like Christmas ornaments and for what it’s worth, I liked it.

I saw this at Alpine Cinemas in Brooklyn, my hometown and I mention that because wherever you see it it should be on a big screen because movie theaters are a very important part of the lifeblood of any neighborhood  and I paid out of pocket to see this too if that means anything to anyone.

The Flash is among the comic book inspired films ever made and certainly the DCEU. If James Gunn should come across this review, give Ezra a chance is all I am asking. When I think of it if you count his cameo appearances in Batman v Superman  Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Crisis On Infinite Earths, Peacemaker and his roles in both Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League along with The Flash, I think he has played the same superhero character more than anyone else in the series thus far and that has to count for something especially if he is getting a handle on whatever his issues are. So in short, The Flash was good fun and worth seeing and refreshing at the same time. Check it out.
