Rumor has it that A24 Films will only be releasing Under The Skin on DVD in the USA, leaving those who wish to buy a copy in high definition no choice, but to download and/or stream an HD copy from an E-tailer. If you want Under The Skin on Blu-ray, write A24 films and let them know you prefer to purchase a high definition copy on Blu-ray Disc.
