There are many film projects that for one reason or another never see the light of day even if decades later a film is made about the same subject, but not with the same vision. There is Stanley Kubrick's Napoleon and James Cameron's Spider-Man and then there is Alejandro Jodorowsky's Dune. Now a feature length documentary is coming out from Sony Pictures Classics that details the doomed project, which would have featured Salvador Dali, Orson Wells, Mick Jagger, and David Carridine among it's stars and Pink Floyd would have done the soundtrack. The first trailer is out now on YouTube at the link below. I can't wait to see this movie.
