Yes, today is January 14, known far and wide as the day to responsibly dress up your pet -- which also helps call attention to the need for pet adoption.
Celebrities of both the feline and the human variety are helping celebrate, because we're also just two days away from the premiere on Netflix of DreamWorks Animation's new series The Adventures of Puss In Boots, a unique combination of adventure, humor and fantasy. The first five episodes debut Friday, Jan. 16, only on Netflix.
To get in the spirit of National Dress Up Your Pet Day and to celebrate The Adventures of Puss In Boots, series star Jayma Mays (Glee, The Millers) dressed up her cat Fräulein as the legendary adventurer himself! Jayma plays Dulcinea, the sweet cat Puss In Boots meets when he ventures into the hidden city of San Lorenzo, and who is one of the series' major characters.
And continuing the spirit of robust excitement, "celebri-cats" Nala Cat, Kimchi Kitty and SamHasEyebrows also got in on the cat -- er, act.
