Created by Aaron Sorkin who executive produced with Thomas Schlamme and John Wells, The West Wing stars Rob Lowe , Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, John Spencer, Bradley Whitford, and Martin Sheen. The series was produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The West Wing, which originally aired on NBC from 1999 to 2006, garnered widespread acclaim with three Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, and 26 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series for four consecutive seasons (2000-2003). This year, the groundbreaking series celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Vikings Valhalla: Season One Blu-ray Disc Set Review.
Vikings Valhalla is set 100 years later than the original Vikings Series and chronicles the beginning of the end of the Viking age and the adventures of Leif Erikson, his sister Freydís Eiríksdóttir and Harald Sigurdsson. The broad historical narrative of both series are based on real events, with some of the principal characters representing real figures from history and/or legend.
This is a rather barebones Blu-ray Disc release of the Netflix TV series with the first season comprised of eight episodes spread out over two Blu-ray discs housed within a standard Blue BD Case. The menu is simple to navigate. The series is presented in an AVC MPEG 4 encoded 1080p Full HD (1.78:1) aspect ratio, preserving the manner of the original streaming television exhibition for viewers.
English DTS HA-MA Sound and French Dolby Digital Dubbed Surround Sound are encoded along with English Subtitles for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired and and French, Nederlands, Dansk, Suomi, Norsk, and Subtitles encoded as options.
Vikings Valhalla: Season One is available now on both Blu-ray Disc and DVD, but sold separately, at retailers on and offline courtesy of Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

Succession: The Complete Series On Blu-ray Disc Review.
A year after releasing the acclaimed series on DVD, Warner Bros.Discovery Entertainment has released the complete critically HBO Original Series Succession on Blu-ray Disc in a twelve-disc set housed within a removable plastic frame with two discs on each side, making access much easier for viewers to remove the discs without damaging the packaging. The discs come housed in a large EPIK PACK branded transparent plastic case with the episode and content information for each disc clearly printed within the side of the insert that faces the viewer when they open the durable case. I say durable because I accidentally dropped the case before beginning to write this review and found the contents to be completely undamaged, which is not always the case when it comes to packaging like this. The entire thing comes within an easily removable cardboard slip.
All 39 episodes of the four season claimed series are presented in (1.78:1) 1080p AVC encoded full HD with a somewhat somber English DTS-HD MA 5.1 Soundtrack coupled with English Subtitles for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired. The picture is crystal sharp and looks great when upscaled to 4K Ultra HD resolution though compared to other programs there is a muted tone to the color to the picture that could be probably dialed up to a more vivid appearance depending on the television and or player being used to screen the episodes. I assumed, having never watched the series before, this appearance was intentional so I did not try and adjust the picture quality.
French Language DTS 5.1 Surround Sound and Castillano DTS 5.1 Surround Soundtrack options are encoded along with a Spanish DTS 2.0 Dubbed Track too, but it should be noted that this is only for the earlier seasons. The final season only has the English DTS-HD MA Soundtrack available. French, Spanish, Castillano, Dansk, Sumomi, Norsk, and Svenska Subtitles are also provided as options.
The episodes tend to have varying lengths with the series finale clocking in at (1.28.30). The total run time is 2,340 minutes and the series has a rating of TV-MA. This is a somber and serious show that at times I think could have used a little levity to bring the viewer out of the subtle political and social manipulations if the characters, most if not all are terrible in their own way lead with gravitas by series star Brian Cox.
Inside the episode featurettes, character recaps, cast and crew interviews and highlights wrap up the extra value features.

ICE NINE KILLS CRAFTS “A WORK OF ART” FOR TERRIFIER 3 New Song Drops 10/11 Alongside Anticipated Horror Sequel
Monday, September 16, 2024 – Worcester, MA – Spencer Charnas, frontman and creative force behind the cinematic horror metal band Ice Nine Kills, announced their official music collaboration for the highly anticipated horror sequel, Terrifier 3, at their third annual fan convention, Silver Scream Con, alongside franchise star, David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown).
Their new single, “A Work of Art,” pays homage to the beloved slasher franchise and will be featured in Terrifier 3 when it opens in theaters nationwide on October 11th.
“The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades,” says Charnas. “We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created. The Art and INK fanbases are one and the same, and we heard the screams for this collaboration loud and clear.”
The official music video, starring the franchise’s David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown, will premiere at Fantastic Fest on Thursday, September 19th, following the World Premiere of Terrifier 3, and will also play in select AMC Theaters nationwide for early showings on Thursday, October 10th.
“A Work of Art” is directed by longtime INK collaborator Jensen Noen and stars Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2), Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and Vincent Rockwell, Richard Christy (Drummer for Death, Control Denied, and Charred Walls of the Damned), and System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian. The 7 minute long video features special FX by Emmy Award-winning effects artist Christopher Nelson (“American Horror Story,” Suicide Squad, Halloween Ends). The video is written by Spencer Charnas and Andrew Justin Smith, with music by Ice Nine Kills, WZRD BLD, Paul Wiley, and Francesco Ferrini. Lyrics by Spencer Charnas and Steve Sopchak, based on characters created by Damien Leone. Art the Clown make-up effects provided by Heather Albert.
