Anna Maxwell Martin, Rachael Stirling, Hattie Morahan, Sophie Rundle and Julie Graham star in the second season of The Bletchley Circle, which will debut on Blu-ray Disc courtesy of PBS DIistribution on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at retailers on and offline. Based on the lives of four extraordinary women with the ability to break codes, which they developed during the Second World War and now use it to solve crimes in post-war London, the second season begins one year after the events of the previous series.
Two episodes are included within the two-disc set. "Blood On Their Hands" has the circle reunite to save one of their own on trial for murder. "Uncustomed Goods" has one of the women discover a human trafficking ring. Both episodes are presented in high definition (1.78:1) broadcast aspect ratios with English Digital Stereo Sound and English Subtitles for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired encoded as options. Over twenty five minutes of cast and crew member interviews are featured too. For those who enjoy enticing high caliber mysteries as PBS usually airs, The Bletchley Circle: Season 2 on Blu-ray Disc is definitely worth a look. The series will also be released on DVD as well as DIgital Download on April 15, 2014 courtesy of PBS Distribution. The series will air on PBS Sunday Nights from April 13 to May 4, 2014.
